Guymon, America

I just got back from a very busy but amazing time at the Guymon Pioneer Days Rodeo! This was Guymon's 80th Pioneer Days Celebration and my 11th trip to the event! Guymon is where it all started for me and they have continued to be my home away from home and my extended family!

Of course I had the privilage of spending time with all the rodeo queens and they were all fabulous and each had something special about them! We had Miss Rodeo Oklahoma, Miss Rodeo Oklahoma Teen, Miss Rodeo Oklahoma Princess, Miss Rodeo South Dakota and Miss Rodeo New York! We even crowned a new Miss Guymon Pioneer Days Rodeo Queen! Thank You so much to the rodeo committee and queen comittee for their hospitality! Becky Robinson is a great rodeo pageant director and the queen committee had some awesome prizes for the queens! Little Princess "E"!

Little Princess E was such a doll and she definitely made me work for each and every shot but it was worth it. She was just 6 days new to the world and already leaving her mark and impression on my heart for sure! I'm so thankful for precious little ones that God blesses us with! Even though I didn't get to keep her, I got to spend my morning enjoying her beautiful little smile!

Family Fun With the "W" Family

Nothing pleases me more than to photography siblings that love each other and it shows in the way they interact with one another! I had the amazing privilege of photographing a friend of mines kids! The two oldest ones played so well together while I photographed the newest addition to the family. Then when we went outside they were great with one another! The word PHOTOGENIC definitely was the word for these kiddos! They loved the camera and the camera loved them! It makes my job so easy when they play and still remember their is a camera following them around. You capture the best moments that way! This session was so much fun! This is what makes my job the best in the world! For me anyways! ;-) Thank You "W" Family! It was a joy to share these moments with you!

Our First Post!!!

Welcome Everyone to our page! I'm so excited to share with you all that we do at Creatively U! I have so many passions I couldn't just stop with one thing! I wanted to share my love photography and rodeo pageants with all the wonderful people I have the privilege of meeting! I have been involved with rodeo queen pageants for over 15 years! I won my first rodeo queen title my senior year in high school and I have loved it ever since. I held the title of Miss Guymon Pioneer Days Rodeo in 1997 and 1999 which was an awesome experience since the Guymon Pioneer Days Rodeo is Oklahoma's largest and richest outdoor rodeo! Very Exciting! I was also blessed to win the title of Miss Rodeo Oklahoma in 2000 and I also placed in the top 10 at Miss Rodeo America!

Because of all the rodeo queens we have made friends with over the years, my twin sister and I discovered a passion for photography. We always knew what we wanted in a picture but we couldn't quite find the photographer that could capture the pics we wanted. So, my mom bought a camera and the rest is history. Now I love doing natural lighting photography! It really is a great way for me to express my artistic side. My clients are all such blessings and each one brings something amazing and unique to their sessions. It makes me love what I do!
